When talking about Transmitter is important to understand what really efficiency means and how it can affect the operation of each station. New technology to enable more efficient transmitters while facing FCC Spectrum Auction and repacking with upcoming digital TV standard will be focal points of the presentation
DIELECTRIC: When it comes to FM antennas the engineers have always wanted as much vertical as possible to hit the target audience, which was listeners in Cars. Is this still the case? Is that the future target audience. Has the FM broadcast antenna manufactures kept up with an ever evolving market of end user receiving devices.

-Discussion of RF protection and its importance to protecting transmission systems from damage

August 13, 2015 Scott Incz of BW Broadcast, and Doug Tharp of SCMS, Inc. BW Broadcast provides innovative low power FM transmission equipment, RDS encoders and processors for FM, AM, HD Radio and Internet Broadcast, plus a range of other broadcast equipment. SCMS is a provider of broadcast equipment based in Pineville, North Carolina.
